A family business that turned into a fleet
Aaron Arnold started this company in 2001 out of Millington, Tennessee with a truck and a saw. Twenty-five years later there are cranes, bucket trucks, grapple loaders, chippers and grinders in the yard, crews working the Mid-South every day, and storm crews that load up and drive toward hurricanes and tornado outbreaks anywhere in the country.
It grew the only way a tree company honestly can. One job at a time. One neighbor telling another. There is no private equity behind it, no franchise agreement, no regional vice president. The man whose name is on the trucks is still the man who runs it — and still the man who shows up on the hard ones.
What we actually hire for
Anybody can be taught to run a saw. What we cannot teach quickly is judgment — reading a load path, knowing which way stored energy is going to release, knowing when to stop and re-rig instead of forcing a cut. That is the difference between a crew and a group of guys with chainsaws, and it is why our people stay.
- Judgment under load. Every removal is talked through before a saw runs.
- Nobody works alone under a loaded or compromised tree.
- PPE every job — helmet, eye and hearing protection, chaps, gloves, hi-vis.
- Property first. Mats and plywood on soft ground, hand-carry where a machine would scar.
- Cleanup is part of the job, not a favor. The site gets raked and blown before the trucks leave.
Three separate customers, across three different years and platforms, independently wrote some version of the same sentence: when they left, you would never know they had been there. That is a crew standard, not a slogan.
